Coco Crowns are the perfect addition to any South American biotop.  From slow moving streams to faster rivers.  They are long lasting as they have a more wood texture to them. I have seen photos where fish have laid eggs on them.  So they definitely promote breeding of fish that prefer more acid water.  And heck they just look awesome.
